Mohammed E. Elbtity, Ph.D., is a Senior Systems Design Engineer at AMD. His work focuses on computer architecture and hardware acceleratoes including tensor processing units (TPUs), neural processing unit (NPU), energy-efficient in-memory computing systems for machine learning, and cryptographic hardware accelerators. Mohammed received his MSc and PhD degrees from the University of South Carolina in 2023 and 2024, respectively, under the supervision of Prof. Ramtin Zand at iCAS Lab. Mohammed's research contributions have been recognized with a best paper award at ISVLSI 2021 along with other research awards and grants. In addition, he has published in leading IEEE conferences and journals. Moreover, Mohammed serves as the board president of Egypt Scholars Inc., a nonprofit organization registered in California and aiming to help students through various educational and supportive programs.
